How Can You Help?

Let Us Count The Ways!

North Carolina Council of The Blind (NCCB) is an Internal Revenue Service recognized 501(c)(3) organization that gratefully accepts tax deductible gifts of any type.

There are all kinds of ways that you can help and believe it or not they don’t all involve your hard earned cash. Take a look below for ways that you can help our blind and low vision friends all across our fine state.

One of the easiest and most secure ways to show how much you care

Making a donation by mail is always a tried and true way to help

It’s always nice to talk to a caring friend

Sometimes sharing some of your good fortune makes another’s day so much brighter

Your contribution will be used to enhance the lives of your North Carolina neighbors who are visually impaired and blind, NCCB promotes activities in many forward thinking ventures throughout our state such as representing our members’ interests before the State Legislature to help pass bills that will fund education, work opportunities and training for the blind.

Getting together with friends is a great way to generate good giving feelings

Plan now and give later to those who still need help

From personal household items like furniture to real estate. There’s lots of ways to help.

We are a non-profit membership organization dedicated to helping people who are blind live more productive and fulfilling lives in North Carolina.

One of the best ways you can help is simply by being there to lend a helping hand or in many cases an eagle eye

Read mail — Filling out forms

Transportation — Grocery shopping

Doctor visits — Everyday chores
