A continuing mission of NCCB is to promote the independant skills, expertise and success of blind and low vision residents across our great state. We would like to invite you to attend this year’s NCCB Job Fair. The NCCB Job Fair is a precursor to our always exciting state convention but is open to all.  With that in mind, whether you are a person in need of work or someone who wishes to advance in your career, we encourage everyone to attend our Job Fair.

Our continuing goal, and particularly with the NCCB Job Fair, is to provide job placement opportunities and to connect employers with motivated and talented people. By bringing together employers, counselors, various professionals, and most importantly YOU, we feel confident that everyone will benefit.

The main Job Fair event for persons interested in employment opportunities will be held October 4th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at 415 S. Swing Rd. in Greensboro, NC.

As a hiring or blindness professional at the NCCB Job Fair you’ll have the opportunity to:

Employers’ Schedule of Events and Cost

 
  • 11:00am to 12:45pm – Disability Inclusion Workshop – NC Services for the Blind WSDO
  • 1:00pm to 1:55pm – Lunch (for employers only) and Set Up
  • 2:00pm to 5:00pm – Job Fair – Various employers from the Triad Community
  • Employer Cost – $15 per employer representative 

Employers are invited to attend a Disability Inclusion Workshop conducted by NC Services for the Blind WSDO. This informative workshop will take place prior to the Job Fair main event from 11:00an to 12:45pm. Employers will be able to set up their areas from 1:00 pm to 1:55pm. Lunch will be provided during this time as well.
